Before you ask - yes that is a coffin bag. I was going through some of my old things the other night, more specifically some of the junk and funk from my teenage gothling days, and I found this mini leather coffin bag, with a pentagram on the cover. I don't even remember where I bought it, no doubt some alternative clothing store, but it's barely been used. Time to change that I think. I love these unexpected findings!
Dior vintage satchel, Lipservice threadbare sweater, Ziginy platform boots
These mamas are a whopping 6.3inches tall, with a 2.5inch platform, and 100% leather upper. What I love most about them - besides the fact that they're heaps comfy and easy to walk in - I love the elegant shape, if you look at it front on the slender make of the shoe gives off the illusion of endless legs, and when paired with some black skinny jeans it manages to lend me some of that supermodel height that I kinda need ;)
I noticed that NASTYGAL are selling a slightly more affordable version available here: LONDON PLATFORM BOOTS! Hells yeah!

Oh and looki they come in different colours 1, 2, 3! I'm also loving the fit of the 811 Ankle jeans, these are bit more fitted than the straight-leg cut of the MOTO jeans, they're a few inches longer too, for those of you who like wearing pants that have an executive position on the leg.
Well, originally I only wanted some more colour in my wardrobe, but after trying them on a few times I was pleasantly surprised to discover how versatile they actually are! You don't even need to wear a lot of colour to make the outfit work, just put on some lipstick or paint your nails! Gah! I'm so in love! Please expect to see them again and again later on this week!
STAPLE asymmetrical blouse, THERAPY Tower2 heels, AMERICAN APPAREL Matte tights, Basic black crop top
Tbh the outfit was based around this one basicblack crop top that has become something of a wardrobe necessity this winter. Perfect if you wear a lot of high-waisted bottoms and if you like layering and asymmetry.

Having spent a major part of my life in and out of museums and libraries I've developed a real fondness for all things historical or classical, particularly anything that reminds me of classical art or literature. Naturally - books! (as featured in two of my last posts)
If you're like me, and you're always packin' a novel or two, why not style it around your outfit? If not, these book clutch bags ^^ are a seriously wicked example of aesthetic meets function! They make such a funky accessory!! Geeks do it best imo.
